Richard Penny 

Richard is married to Sarah, and they moved to Swanage in 2019, with their two dogs Bilbo and Frodo. They had previously owned a holiday caravan in the town and been frequent visitors for many years. They were encouraged by the welcome they received at Emmanuel on Sundays, so when they felt God calling them to move to Swanage, Emmanuel became the obvious choice, and they have enjoyed becoming members of the fellowship.
 
Richard was an engineer and project manager working on communications systems for customers in several countries. He was involved in the Christian Union at his workplace, and also actively involved in leadership at their previous church.
 
In his spare time he enjoys walking in the Purbecks with Sarah and the dogs, getting involved with the techie stuff at church, and is a volunteer signalman on the Swanage Railway.
